FutureStitch is seeking an experienced Lonati Knitting Technician to lead technical innovation and product development in our state-of-the-art knitting development center. This role is central to advancing the next generation of circular knit sock technology and shaping the future of performance and lifestyle knitwear.
As the Knitting Lonati Technician, you will be responsible for creating advanced machine programs, engineering new knit structures, and pushing the limits of Lonati SbyS machinery. You will collaborate closely with our design and development teams to transform technical concepts and CAD designs into best-in-class products for major global brands.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with FS design and development teams to engineer cutting-edge knit technologies and innovative sock constructions.
- Build and optimize Lonati machine programs that bring product concepts and CAD designs to life.
- Maintain, adjust, and perform technical service on Lonati SbyS development machines to ensure peak performance.
- Drive innovation projects by creating new knit structures, techniques, and materials applications.
- Continuously improve machine setups, programming methods, and raw material usage to enhance product performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex knitting issues, fine-tuning programs for maximum machine uptime, speed, and quality.
- Partner across departments to support a culture of collaboration, innovation, and open communication within the technical and development teams.
Qualifications
- Advanced experience operating and programming Lonati SbyS sock knitting machines.
- Strong technical understanding of yarn behavior, needle selection, and knit structures.
- Ability to translate design intent and CAD files into high-quality knitting programs.
- Problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
