Electrical Engineer

About the Opportunity
A multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support industrial, pharmaceutical, biotech, and advanced manufacturing projects. This role offers exposure to facility upgrades, modernization efforts, utility infrastructure, and new facility design projects from concept through construction.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers and project teams developing power distribution, control systems, and facility electrical infrastructure for highly regulated environments. This position offers strong technical growth, client exposure, and a path toward project leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for industrial and commercial facilities
- Develop power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control system designs
- Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and applicable standards
- Assist with facility assessments, feasibility studies, and system evaluations
- Coordinate designs with mechanical, process, architectural, and structural teams
- Participate in client meetings, field investigations, and construction support activities
- Support project delivery from planning through construction
Preferred Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- EIT, PE, or ability to obtain licensure
- Experience with power distribution, controls, instrumentation, or industrial electrical systems
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Understanding of electrical codes and industry standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Salary : $80,000 - $155,000
