  • Oversees implementation of policies and procedures 

  • Oversees admission and discharge of individuals 

  • Oversee all organizational operations and strategic initiatives, including direct supervision of the Director of Programs, Home and Community Services, AWC Program, Staff Development Coordinator, Nurse, Clinical Supervisor, and Behavior Support Professional.  

  • Provides adequate safety and protection of individuals 

  • Provides oversight and support over large community based residential programs.  

  • Assures waiver compliance with regulations 

  • Oversees recruitment, hiring, training, and evaluating supervisory employees. 

  • Monitors budget status and authorize requests for expenditures.  

  • Development and implementation of new programs and services.  

  • Assures ongoing compliance with all provider qualification requirements 

  • Develops programs, opportunities for effective working relationships with the public to promote acceptance and support for programs and individuals by the community.  

  • Maitains effective working relationships with county, regional, and state officials.  

  • Ensures compliance with all agency policies and procedures  

  • Establishes and maintains positive relationships with families, AE, SCO, DDTT and all external parties.  

  • Provides support and problem-solving techniques to Director of Programs 

  • Establishes credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.  

  • Provides leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are put into practice.  

  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.  

  • Spearheads the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.  

  • Collaborates with the Executive Management Team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the company.  

  • Motivates and leads a high-performance management team; attracts, recruits and retains required members of the executive team not currently in place; provides mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program.  

  • Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.  

  • Maintains current certification to remain a certified investor for investigation of incidents, which also includes: 

  • Possessing good communication skills 

  • Possessing critical thinking skills 

  • Working independently 

  • Having experience in day to day operations of human services programs 

  • Maintaining objectivity and confidentiality 

  • Remaining ethical in supervision and decision making 

Qualifications:

-Valid Driver’s License  

-A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and two years' work experience in administration or the human services field.  

-A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years' work experience in administration or the human services field. 

Training Requirements:  

This position is required to complete 24 hours of human services or administration training annually.  

Medical Physical:  This position is required to get a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and Mantoux TB test upon hire. The physical and drug screen will be required on a bi-annual basis.  

Working Conditions:  Employee in this position may be expected to work evenings and weekends.   Employee is also exposed on a regular basis to individuals who have a intellectual disability diagnosis which might include the following behaviors but not limited to: attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, conduct disorders, below level intellectual functioning, and depression.  The employee is occasionally exposed to individuals who have the potential to carry a communicable disease.
