Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. This role involves designing developmentally appropriate activities, supporting children's social-emotional growth, and collaborating with families to ensure each child's success. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the foundational skills necessary for children’s future academic and personal achievements.
Duties
- Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate curricula that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in young children.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and early childhood development principles.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of child progress using standardized testing methods and observational techniques to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share updates on children’s progress, address concerns, and foster strong home-school partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child welfare and incident reports.
- Create a safe, nurturing environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR certification requirements.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children across various age groups, especially toddlers and preschoolers.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development stages, early intervention strategies, and special education needs.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with childcare regulations, daycare practices, private school standards, and preschool teaching methodologies.
- Experience implementing literacy education programs and teaching physical education activities.
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse learners through inclusive teaching practices.
