About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Casting Maintenance Departments at our Lafayette facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving maintenance excellence, developing high-performing teams, and supporting plant-wide strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive, forward-thinking leader with strong technical expertise and proven experience in metal industry environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and set clear expectations for all Casting Maintenance Departments to support plant and corporate strategic goals.
- Serve as a change agent, driving increased proactive and preventative maintenance within a matrix organizational structure.
- Optimize maintenance resources and ensure effective use of the work order management system.
- Champion and advance predictive maintenance, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and capability control for critical processes.
- Oversee the identification, recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development of maintenance team members.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (required).
- Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience with a strong technical background.
- Demonstrated ability to deploy and sustain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
- 1 years of experience in the metals industry, such as aluminum, steel, or equivalent metal processing.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
