Short-Haul Truck Driver (Part-Time)

FutureFuel Chemical Company is looking for part-time truck drivers for the FutureFuel Chemical team. Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a minimum of an “N” endorsement, preferably an “X” endorsement. High school diploma or GED, excellent driving record, and flawless background and drug test are also required. This position will work at the FutureFuel site in Batesville, Arkansas.

The FutureFuel Chemical trucking team members may work in a variety of roles. The trucking team handles deliveries of FutureFuel biodiesel throughout the state and into Tennessee and other surrounding states. Up to two trips a day to Memphis or Little Rock are customary or daily support of FutureFuel fuel tanks in Arkansas. Several drivers also travel to Illinois each day to pick up coal. Most positions allow for day-only assignments allowing you to be home each night. Pay is by the load, mile, or hourly depending on the task.

Another role is a rotating 12-hour shift position to support Chemical Operations. Responsibilities include moving isotainers and trailers around the plant for loading/unloading, occasional deliveries to an off-site warehouse, managing in-plant dumpsters, assisting with biodiesel loading for customers, assisting with warehouse duties when needed (forklift, lull, etc.), being flexible to move from job to job as priorities change, assisting operations with tasks as needed, and other responsibilities as assigned. The rotating shift position is a 48/36 schedule requiring two weekends on per month and two having two weekends off per month.
