This role focuses on designing, deploying, and sustaining private 5G, wireless, and edge-enabled systems within controlled and operational test environments, enabling experimentation, prototyping, and field validation of emerging capabilities.

The Program Manager serves as the central integrator of program execution, technical delivery, and customer engagement, ensuring solutions meet Army T&E objectives, mission requirements, and operational constraints across lab, range, and field environments.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead execution of programs supporting Army test ranges, labs, and operational experimentation environments
  • Manage complex efforts involving prototype development, test integration, and transition from lab to fielded capability
  • Oversee integrated schedules aligned to test events, exercises, and evaluation milestones
  • Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition, test, and evaluation frameworks

Technical & Systems Integration (T&E Environment Focus)

  • Oversee deployment and integration of:
  • Private 5G / LTE networks in test ranges and lab environments
  • Edge computing platforms supporting real-time analytics and AI-driven testing
  • RF systems and spectrum-dependent systems within controlled test conditions
  • Support end-to-end test lifecycle, including:
  • Environment setup and control variables

  • Support coordination with:
  • Test ranges (e.g., developmental and operational test sites)
  • Lab environments and integration facilities
  • Operational units participating in exercises
  • Lead test readiness reviews, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), and after-action reporting

Vendor & Test Ecosystem Coordination

  • Manage OEMs, integrators, and subcontractors supporting test instrumentation, communications, and network infrastructure
  • Coordinate delivery and integration of test assets, equipment, and software baselines
  • Ensure vendor deliverables align with test schedules, data requirements, and evaluation criteria

  • Test lifecycle management (lab → field → operational validation)
  • RF and wireless systems in controlled and contested environments
  • Test event planning, execution, and reporting
  • Experience working in:
  • Test ranges, experimentation environments, or lab-based system validation environments
  • Proven ability to manage programs involving prototype systems and emerging technologies transition

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with:
  • Army Futures Command, DEVCOM, ATEC, or PEO-managed programs
  • Networked systems supporting live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) environments
