What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer position at Future Screw Machine Products?
We are looking for an experienced programmer familiar with Fanuc mills, Fanuc Lathes & Mazak machines. The ideal candidate will have the ability to use CAD/CAM software to write machine code, set up and calibrate tooling, load raw materials, execute test runs, and perform strict quality inspections to ensure all parts meet exact specifications.
The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following key duties and responsibilites:
Select, install, and calibrate cutting tools, fixtures, and clamps.
Program the correct speeds and feeds for various materials (metals, plastics, composites).
Load raw stock into the machine, initiate cycles, and monitor the cutting process to ensure efficiency and prevent crashes.
Conduct test runs on prototypes and measure finished parts against blueprint tolerances using precision instruments like micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery, debug programming errors, and troubleshoot issues during production to minimize downtime
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
