Looking for passionate EEC Certified Teachers, Who loves teaching children and wants to join a group of amazing teachers.
The Float EEC Teacher provides support across multiple classrooms and age groups, assisting lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities:
- Support classrooms as assigned by the Director, covering for teachers during breaks, planning periods, or absences.
- Assist in implementing daily lesson plans and activities that align with the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment at all times.
- Interact positively with children to support their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Supervise children closely to ensure their health and safety.
- Communicate effectively with classroom teachers and the Director about children’s needs, behavior, and progress.
- Assist with transitions between activities, meals, and outdoor play.
- Support toileting, diapering, and other caregiving tasks as needed, following EEC regulations.
- Help set up and clean up classroom materials and activities.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for all children and families.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
