What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Outreach Representative – Paid Training (Door-to-Door Fundraising) position at Future Kids of America?
Future Kids of America is seeking energetic and outgoing individuals to help raise funds and awareness for programs that provide scholarships, mentoring, and educational opportunities to students throughout our community.
As a Community Outreach Representative, you will engage directly with residents through door-to-door fundraising, share our mission, and help secure community support for programs that help students succeed and graduate with less debt.
This is a year-round position throughout the Chicagoland area. No experience is required. Paid training and transportation are provided. We’re looking for motivated, dependable individuals with strong communication skills who enjoy meeting people and making a positive impact in their community.
Position Details:
- $20 per hour guaranteed base pay
- Earn $20–$25 per hour with performance-based fundraising incentives
- Performance incentives increase based on fundraising results and demonstrated performance
- Paid training and ongoing support
- Transportation provided
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door fundraising and community outreach throughout the Chicagoland area
- Speak with residents about Future Kids of America’s mission and programs
- Raise funds and awareness to support scholarships and educational opportunities for students
- Represent the organization in a professional, respectful, and positive manner
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and goal-oriented
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with residents door-to-door
- Ability to work outdoors and remain motivated in a performance-driven environment
