We are seeking a Part-Time Education Facilitator who is passionate about working with youth and making a meaningful impact in the community.
In this dynamic role, you will facilitate engaging programs across summer school, after-school programs, and our all-day Monday program, helping students build character, explore careers, and develop essential life skills. This paid, flexible position is ideal for educators, mentors, and especially retired teachers who are eager to continue inspiring the next generation. There is also potential for transition into a full-time role based on performance and organizational needs.
- Facilitate interactive educational sessions focused on character development, career exploration, and college readiness
- Engage and manage groups of students in a positive, structured learning environment
- Deliver pre-developed curriculum while adding your own energy and facilitation style
- Support program logistics, including attendance tracking, classroom setup, and activity coordination
- Build strong relationships with students, school staff, and community partners
- Collaborate with the Future In Action team to support program growth and continuous improvement
- Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and goal-setting through discussions and activities
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants
- Experience working with youth in educational, mentoring, or classroom settings
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to engage and manage a classroom or group setting effectively
- Passion for student development, education, and community impact
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow program structure
- Flexibility to work during summer programs, after-school hours, and full-day Monday sessions
