What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales and Project Coordinator position at Future Homes?
Overview
We’re looking for a sales-driven, people-focused professional to guide customers through the process of building a home on their land—from first conversation through completion.
This position is based in our Hubert Design Center, just outside Jacksonville, NC.
The job includes working most Saturdays with a day off during the week.
Duties:
- Meet with prospective buyers and guide them through the homebuilding process
- Help customers choose floor plans, options, and customization features
- Follow up on leads (walk-ins, calls, and online inquiries)
- Build relationships and confidently guide customers toward next steps
- Guide customers through pricing, financing steps, and the overall process
- Stay involved with homeowners throughout construction
- Coordinate with internal team and construction superintendent
- Track progress and timelines using Buildertrend
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or coordination (homebuilding or construction is a plus)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple clients/projects
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Buildertrend or similar systems is a plus
- Must live within 30–40 minutes of Hubert
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys building relationships over time and guiding customers through a structured, step-by-step process.
Schedule
Tuesday–Saturday (weekday off)
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
