What We’re Looking For
- Diesel Technician experience required; Ford diesel experience preferred
- Power stroke or equivalent diesel certification strongly preferred
- 3–5 years of dealer-level or heavy diesel technician experience
- Strong diagnostic skills in diesel engines, fuel systems, emissions, and drivability
- Results-oriented, reliable, and team-focused
- Commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and powertrain systems, including Power stroke platforms
- Perform heavy-duty diesel repairs including engine, turbo, fuel, cooling, and exhaust after-treatment systems
- Troubleshoot advanced electrical, drivability, and emissions concerns
- Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately per Ford factory and dealership standards
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional safety or service needs
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors, Dispatch, and Parts to support workflow
- Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders
- Road test vehicles to ensure proper diesel performance and repair quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Stay current with Ford diesel training, certifications, and technical bulletins
- High diesel workload and consistent repair flow
- Strong advisor support = minimal downtime
- Fair, productivity-based dispatching
