Range: $26.00 - $35.00

We are in search of a talented and reliable experienced Electrical/ Mechanical Maintenance professional to join our team. In this position, your responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises. Your duties will include execute equipment repairs in a timely manner, complete preventive maintenance service, and assist in engineering projects as needed. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensures operation of, machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions, and the ability to learn programming equipment.
· Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
· Troubleshoots production issues to eliminate downtime and makes repairs in a timely manner to meet production needs - Maintain records of maintenance on all plant equipment utilizing MaintainX.
· Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
· Controls downtime by informing supervisors and production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
· Maintain an established comprehensive P.M. schedule on assigned equipment.
· Assist in equipment rebuilding activities and engineering projects.
Assist with moving machines and setting the machines back up in other areas in the plant. ·
· Assist operators on equipment – following up on lock-out/tag out procedures when equipment breakdown occurs. .
· Comply with all work safety practices and environmental rules.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment.
· Assist in maintaining the facility as needed including light plumbing and lighting etc.
· Be able to respond to situations where shifting priorities are common and difficult conditions happen.
QUALIFICATIONS / OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma is a job requirement- Associate’s Degree is a plus
· 4 years of maintenance and electrical experience in a manufacturing setting.
· Able to work independently and in a team setting.
· Provide one’s own hand tools to perform job responsibilities.
· Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills.
· Able to work overtime as required.
· Communicating verbally in person and on the telephone.
· Experience troubleshooting – Programmable Logic Control
· Ability to multi task.
KNOWLEDGE – SKILLS – ABILITIES:
· Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, programming CNC/VCC - F and K, Baumer, and Sitola machine knowledge will be helpful. .
· HVAC, Boiler, Fire System/Sprinklers, and Air Compressor knowledge is a plus, but not required.
· Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
· Ability to troubleshoot control circuits and wire 480 Volt Motors and Equipment.
· Welding and metal fabrication a Plus, but not required.
· Physical Requirements:· Position is physically demanding, strenuous, repetitive. Physical actions of climbing, bending, stooping, walking, lifting, and pulling. Must be able to see and hear effectively.
