We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team on the second shift, working from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure seamless production operations. Your expertise will help optimize machinery performance, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards across the facility. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose automation issues and implement solutions.
- Operate and maintain precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to ensure electrical system integrity.
- Conduct MIG, TIG, and ARC welding (including purge/sanitation welding), HVAC/R repairs, and other mechanical repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Work with high voltage systems safely, adhering to all electrical safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist with field service activities as needed, supporting manufacturing operations across different areas of the facility.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and participating in safety training sessions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
Skills
- Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility maintenance environment with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Expertise in electrical systems include low voltage, high voltage, industrial electrician skills, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, PLC programming, and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, MIG, TIG, and ARC welding (including purge/sanitation welding), and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical problems efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills when collaborating with internal teams or external vendors during field service activities.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting purposes.
- Background in military or industrial maintenance is a plus for discipline and technical proficiency.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- High-school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree: A degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Automated Systems preferred.
- Certifications: * PLC Certification: (Programmable Logic Controllers) preferred.
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
- Journeyman Card desirable
- High-Speed Packaging: Experience with fillers, cappers, labelers, and palletizers (common brands include Krones, Sidel, or KHS).
- Fluid Power: Proficiency in Hydraulics and Pneumatics—bottling lines rely heavily on air-actuated valves and cylinders.
- Conveyor Systems: Knowledge of VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and google docs desired.

Work Environment and other Conditions:
PPE requirements: Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses required when on the production floor as a minimum. Other PPE may be required depending on area and specific function needs.
The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
