Future Athletes AZ is hiring dependable, energetic coaches to lead after-school sports programs at elementary schools in Gilbert.
This is a great opportunity for college students, teachers, former athletes, current coaches, or anyone who enjoys working with kids and creating a positive environment.
Coaches will lead fun, organized sports activities for elementary-aged students. Lesson plans and equipment are provided.
Responsibilities
- Lead after-school sports clubs for elementary-aged students
- Teach basic sports skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Keep students engaged in safe, organized activities
- Take attendance and follow school dismissal procedures
- Arrive on time and communicate professionally with school staff
- Set up and clean up equipment
- Maintain a positive and encouraging environment
Qualifications
- Experience working with children
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and high energy
- Ability to manage groups of elementary-aged students
- Must be able to pass a background check
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Coaching, teaching, childcare, or athletic experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Current Schedule
Current coaching opportunities are located in Gilbert.
Available shifts may include:
- Mondays between approximately 1:15 PM and 2:45 PM
- Tuesdays between approximately 3:15 PM and 4:45 PM
Additional after-school, camp, private training, and seasonal coaching opportunities may become available.
Applicants do not need to be available for every day, but consistent weekly availability is required for any assigned program.

Pay
