Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7-passenger minivan to transport students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and other designated locations.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations diligently to ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting regular inspections for mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns.
- Manage behavior on the bus with patience and professionalism, fostering a positive environment for children of various ages.
- Assist with loading and unloading students, ensuring proper child safety seat installation when applicable.
- Keep accurate records of routes, student attendance, and any incidents or emergencies that occur during transportation.
- Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating friendliness, patience, and clear communication skills to parents and school personnel.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with Passenger and School bus endorsement. Must have both endorsements!!!!!!!!!
