Futura Energy Group is proud to be partnering with a leading Texas-based General Contractor in their search for a Vice President for their Aviation Business Unit.
Location: Houston, TX (preferred) - will consider San Antonio, Austin, or Dallas; relocation offered for out-of-state candidates

About the Role:
With major existing airline partnerships and projects at airports all over the US including DFW, Love Field, LAX, SLC and LaGuardia, this is an opportunity to step into a proven business unit with the intent to grow the business through new client relationships and expansion of current relationships.
The VP will focus on strategic client development and executive project leadership, leveraging industry relationships to grow market share while ensuring successful delivery of high-profile aviation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the executive lead for aviation projects across multiple airports, supporting both business development and project delivery.
- Maintain and expand relationships with airlines, airport authorities, and industry partners.
- Represent the company in aviation industry networks, leveraging personal contacts to secure new opportunities.
- Provide oversight to established project teams (already in place and successful) - no need to build from scratch.
- Partner with corporate leadership to shape long-term aviation growth strategy.
Candidate Profile:
- 10 years in senior leadership within aviation construction or program management.
- Background ideally from a General Contractor; experience with an Owner’s Rep firm is also preferred.
- Proven ability to win work through strong aviation industry relationships.
- Track record of leading major terminal/concourse or aviation infrastructure projects.
- Texas-based or willing to relocate to Houston (with support provided); candidates in San Antonio, Austin, or Dallas also considered.
