CI & Automation Infrastructure Lab Engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA
Role Purpose: Operate and scale physical automation lab infrastructure, ensuring racks, devices and agents remain reliable for continuous test execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain automation racks, device fleets, agents, OS/SDK versions and lab infrastructure.
• Coordinate hardware lifecycle activities, device refreshes and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot automation rack, device connectivity and execution environment issues.
• Partner with CI, QA and engineering teams to sustain continuous test coverage.
• Document lab standards, maintenance cadence and operational risk areas.
Required Skills & Experience
• 7 years in lab infrastructure, test automation operations, device fleet management or hardware QA support.
• Experience maintaining automation racks, device pools, OS/SDK updates or test lab environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across devices, networked lab systems and automation agents.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering teams and support high-availability test environments.
• Disciplined asset handling, change control and documentation practices.
