Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer located in Chino, CA. The Senior Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for conducting site investigations, analyzing soil conditions, and applying geotechnical principles to projects.

Responsibilities include designing foundations, preparing engineering reports, supervising field and laboratory testing, and providing technical support to clients and project teams. The role requires a proactive approach to project management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Site Investigation and Soil analysis
• Expertise in Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology
• Proficiency in Foundation Design and related structural evaluations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Geotechnical Engineer (GE) licensure preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and reporting
• Experience in southern California’s regulatory and geotechnical landscape is a plus
