Position Overview
Quantum Leap Research is seeking an experienced Customer Solutions Engineer to design, deploy, integrate, and support end-to-end infrastructure solutions for internal and external customers. This role serves as the bridge between customers, engineering teams, and infrastructure systems, ensuring technical requirements are translated into practical, scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on systems engineer with strong Linux administration, networking, automation, and troubleshooting experience who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while working directly with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support integrated infrastructure solutions for customer environments.
- Gather customer requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Integrate Linux systems, networking technologies, and automation platforms into cohesive infrastructure solutions.
- Build, configure, validate, and maintain enterprise systems and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across operating systems, networking, and application layers.
- Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and scripting tools.
- Participate in system integration, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and platform engineering teams.
- Support production environments while continuously improving system reliability and performance.
- Provide technical guidance to customers throughout implementation and post-deployment support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience administering and supporting Linux systems.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.

- Experience integrating multiple technologies into enterprise infrastructure solutions.
- Customer-facing experience gathering requirements and delivering technical solutions.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
