Tire Technician (Automotive Commercial Experience Preferred)
Fussell Tire is hiring an experienced tire technician to join our team. This position is primarily regular automotive tire work, but we need someone in-house who can also confidently handle larger commercial and equipment tires when needed.
Day-to-Day Work Includes
- Passenger vehicles, light trucks, and SUVs (majority of the work)
- Mounting, balancing, repairing, and rotating tires
- Shop organization and equipment care
- General shop duties such as:
- Cleaning work areas and service bays
- Organizing tools, inventory, and tire storage
- Assisting with day-to-day shop upkeep
- Occasional work on:
- Tractor trailers
- Dump trucks
- Farm and machinery tires
- Larger commercial and industrial tires
What We’re Looking For
- Previous tire shop experience required
- Experience with large/commercial or machinery tires strongly preferred
- Comfortable using tire machines and shop equipment
- Safety-focused and detail-oriented
- Willing to help with general shop work when not on a vehicle
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus, not required)
Schedule & Benefits
- Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM
- Closed for lunch from 1:00–2:00 PM
- Closed on major holidays to spend time with family
- Paid holidays after 90 days

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
