Our Hartford, CT based Environmental group is looking for an Environmental Engineer or Scientist Intern to work on site investigation projects.

Our internship program is a 12-week paid summer program. We offer in-depth work experience on local projects in a supportive and collaborative environment. The position is full-time Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits
• Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections
• Support the preparation of environmental reports and documentation
• Collect and analyze environmental samples (e.g., soil, water, air)
• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and risk analyses
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project designs
  
  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Pursuing a degree in environmental engineering, geology, hydrology, or related field
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Proficiency with MS Office programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
