Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Receiver to join our warehouse team at Fusion Transport, a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider. The Receiver will be responsible for picking and preparing cases of products for shipment to clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety in the warehouse. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting order fulfillment goals.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report issues to the appropriate department.
- Packing and Labeling: Pack cases properly and label them according to company guidelines to ensure safe and accurate shipments.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, safe operation of warehouse equipment, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other warehouse staff, including packers, loaders, and supervisors, to ensure efficient operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of items picked and ensure all necessary paperwork and electronic records are completed in a timely manner.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improving operational efficiency and workflow processes within the warehouse.
You’re a Great Fit if You:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired, but not required.
- Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and communicate with others.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform duties under limited supervision.
- Ability to operate any equipment necessary to perform job.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift 90% of the time.
- Ability to manually lift/move up to 65 pounds regularly
- Ability to manually push/move up to 100 pounds with assistance from another employee
