Production Associate / Asociado(a) de Producción

Fusion Tools, Inc.
Sparta, TN Part Time
POSTED ON 10/26/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/22/2027

Fusion Tools is a small, family-owned manufacturer of patented vehicle recovery and rigging gear, made 100% in the USA. Location is currently in Sparta but will be moving to McMinnville Spring 2027. Currently a part time position, but line is growing and expected to soon turn full-time with benefits.

The job

You'll work one of our core product lines from start to finish: high-strength recovery rope. Once trained, you'll:

  • Inspect raw rope for defects before it goes into production
  • Lift, pull and move heavy rope throughout the shift
  • Splice and finish rope by hand, following detailed build instructions
  • Measure, balance and coat finished rope, then hang it to dry
  • Package finished products and help pack outgoing orders
  • Run a computer-controlled (CNC) sewing machine
  • Keep your station and our shared shop clean and organized

We'll teach you everything. Be ready for physical work. The rope is heavy, you're on your feet a good part of the day, and splicing takes real grip, hand and arm strength along with precision. It's demanding, repetitive work, and satisfying once you get good at it.

Schedule and pay

  • 32 hours a week, Mon–Thu, 8:00am–4:30pm
  • $18/hour
  • Paid, hands-on training

You'll do well here if you:

  • Like physical work and don't mind a challenge
  • Enjoy working with your hands and take pride in doing it right
  • Follow written steps carefully, every time, even after you know them by heart
  • Like working independently and figuring things out
  • Own your mistakes and fix them
  • Can keep a steady pace to hit weekly production goals
  • Want a long-term part-time job, not a stopgap

This will not be the right fit if you:

  • Are looking for light-duty or mostly seated work
  • Need someone checking in on you throughout the day
  • Prefer variety over repetition
  • Are only looking for something short-term

Requirements

  • Reliable attendance and transportation
  • Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lb, and stand for most of a shift
  • Strong grip and hand strength for working thick, stiff rope, plus the dexterity for detailed splicing
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, towing or recovery, rigging, farm, construction or similar physical hands-on work is a plus, but not required

Our hiring process

  • Short application, including one question about your hands-on experience
  • 20-minute video interview
  • In-person interview
  • Reference checks and background check
  • Offer, with a 60-day introductory period

  • Empacará productos terminados y ayudará a empacar pedidos

  • Solo busca algo a corto plazo

Requisitos

  • Asistencia y transporte confiables

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
