Typical Schedule
- Morning (AM): Travel to assigned partner daycares, preschools, or schools to provide on-site pediatric therapy.
- Afternoon (PM): Return to the clinic to treat outpatients, complete documentation, and collaborate with your therapy team.

- Evaluate clients to determine eligibility for occupational therapy services
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs and goals
- Provide therapy in partner childcare settings (daycares, preschools, schools) and in the clinic
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and clinic staff to ensure carryover and continuity of care
- Educate families and staff on home or classroom strategies and adaptive equipment
- Document patient progress and treatment in accordance with clinic policies and deadlines
- Communicate consistently with the care team and maintain coordination between off-site and clinic services
- Represent Fusion Therapy Center professionally in all partner-site interactions
- Proven experience as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, caregivers, and families
- Knowledge of OT principles, early childhood development, and sensory integration
- Comfort and professionalism working in community and school-based environments
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Valid OT license (or anticipated licensure date)
- Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate clients to assess their eligibility for occupational therapy services
- Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans tailored to the client’s unique needs and goals
- Implement interventions designed to maximize gross motor skills, functional mobility, and independence
- Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks, breaking activities into manageable components
- Recommend and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment as necessary
- Educate family members and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and care strategies
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies and deadlines
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, their families, and other team members
- Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist (or completion of clinical experience)
- Strong critical thinking skills with a flexible, growth-oriented mindset
- In-depth knowledge of OT principles and practices
- Familiarity with occupational therapy assessments and Medicaid guidelines
- Ability to work with diverse patient personalities and care needs
- Continuous drive to learn and stay current with new treatment practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid OT license - or anticipated licensure date
- Graduate degree or higher in occupational therapy
