Our elite global Alternative Investment Fund client is seeking to recruit a Vice President Strategic Corporate Finance to serve as a strategic finance partner to firm leadership and lead firmwide financial planning, long-term forecasting and budgeting for the firm's corporate functions and investment strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to firm leadership and lead firmwide financial planning, long-term forecasting and budgeting for the firm's corporate functions and investment strategies
- Develop, own and maintain firmwide financial models linking capital requirements, headcount, expense management and revenue
- Drive and own the annual budget process including periodic reforecasting and variance analysis
- Collaborate with corporate strategy and firm leadership to align business plans with firm objectives
- Oversee and own the management company financial analysis - firmwide profitability analysis, expense allocations, management fee revenue, etc.
- Build economic models analyzing the firm's investment strategies to support corporate planning, operating efficiencies and long-term strategic growth
- Support enterprise level capital planning and liquidity analysis and evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives
- Translate financial analysis into actional recommendations for senior leadership
- Build dashboards providing senior leadership with KPIs focused on AUM growth, industry and market trends and financial performance metrics
- Consolidate complex financial data into ready to consumer narratives for presentations to senior leadership and Management Committee/Board meetings
- Collaborate with various teams on firmwide planning and forecasting
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives for financial reporting and system enhancements
- Perform ad hoc projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- MBA, CFA or CPA preferred
- 5 years of strategic corporate finance in the alternative investment or financial services industry
- Advanced financial modeling experience and the proven ability to own firmwide models
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-wide strategic planning, forecasting, management company economic modeling across multiple entities
- Investment banking or corporate development experience is a plus
- Demonstrated experience preparing executive-level presentations and materials
- Experience collaborating with senior leadership on strategic financial planning initiatives
- Expertise with budgeting and forecasting
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with enterprise planning tools preferred
- Highly motivated and detail oriented with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable recommendations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem solving skills
