Job Title : Certified Pharmacy Technician
Location: San Diego, CA
Shift : Mon- Friday Day shift
Duration: 14 weeks contract with possible extension
Pay Range: $18-$21/hr on W2
Required:
- 1 year experience as Pharmacy tech
- DL copy
- Pharmacy tech license CA
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including IV infusions.
- Conduct intake assessments for new patients and ensure accurate medication administration.
- Maintain accurate records of medication orders and patient profiles.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the safe preparation of sterile products.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide critical care support and enhance patient service.
- Manage inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring availability for patient needs.
- Provide education to patients regarding their medications, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and pharmacy practices to enhance service delivery.
