Cardiology Opportunity in Billings, Montana
This is a unique chance to advance your career in cardiology with a hospital in Billings, Montana. The job involves working 24-hour shifts and supervising advanced practice professionals (APPs).
The typical day includes interpreting echocardiograms (Echo), nuclear medicine tests (Nuc med), and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) for up to 10 patients per shift. You will also be responsible for reading Echo and ECG results and participating in call coverage.
- Schedule: 24-hour on-call shifts, Monday to Monday
- Responsibilities:
- Supervise APPs
- Interpret Echo, Nuc med, and TEE procedures
- Read Echo and ECG results
- Participate in 2 calls per day and 2 calls per night
- Certifications and Requirements:
- BC Cardiovascular Disease certification
- Fellowship CV certification
- Echo/Nuc Med Boards certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- MT license or willingness to obtain one
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in cardiology
