The Senior Project Manager – IT plays a critical role in leading technology projects that enhance operational performance and deliver scalable business solutions. This position oversees project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple business units—ensuring each initiative meets defined objectives for quality, schedule, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead successful delivery of medium to large-scale IT projects involving internal teams and external partners.
• Manage relationships with cross-functional departments, vendors, and contractors to ensure alignment and accountability.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, resource estimates, and communication strategies based on defined business goals.
• Oversee project scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and quality expectations.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external providers.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop technology roadmaps, manage release processes, and support product lifecycle from planning to post-launch analysis.
• Deliver clear and concise project status updates and performance reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Inspire cross-functional teams with a clear vision, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Leverage best practices and process improvement methods to increase efficiency and reduce delivery risk.
• Manage risk and change control processes for assigned projects, ensuring enterprise readiness and compliance.
• Support the development and presentation of business cases for IT and capital investments.
• Mentor and support junior project managers or team members, fostering skill development and adherence to PM principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of project management experience, preferably in IT or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
• Strong familiarity with ITIL processes, project governance, and technology deployment methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across departments.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive results through cross-functional collaboration.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
• Flexible availability, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays, as project demands require.
