What You’ll Do:
- Operate manual lathes to meet quality and production goals.
- Understand machining principles, lead error, and helix angles.
- Inspect and measure parts for accuracy.
- Troubleshoot machines and recommend improvements.
- Train new operators and support team efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3–5 years manual lathe experience.
- Blueprint reading and precision measurement skills.
- Tooling, feeds, speeds, and basic programming knowledge.
- Overhead crane and forklift experience.
- Must provide your own tools.
