Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders from business, IT, marketing, and operations to define, analyze, and document business requirements for the booking engine and related digital platforms.
- Serve as the product owner for the booking engine platform, driving the vision and prioritization of new features and enhancements.
- Create and maintain detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), and user stories to support product development and QA teams.
- Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives and meet customer needs.
- Facilitate requirement review sessions, sprint planning, and user story grooming with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze existing booking engine systems and processes, recommending improvements for scalability, user experience, and efficiency.
- Support eCommerce, booking engines, loyalty programs, and mobile initiatives across the organization.
- Manage product backlog, prioritizing features and working with development teams to deliver features in line with the strategic goals.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from discovery through deployment, ensuring timely and effective delivery of digital products.
- Collaborate with QA teams to assist in the development of test cases and ensure solutions meet expectations during UAT.
Preferred Experience:
- 5 years as a Business Analyst/Product Owner, with experience in digital product development, specifically eCommerce and booking engines.
- Strong background in casino, hospitality, or travel industry, with a focus on casino booking engines or similar guest-facing platforms.
- Proven experience managing product backlogs and working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with loyalty programs, mobile-first product development, and other digital products for the hospitality or casino industry.
- Strong documentation skills, including BRDs, PRDs, user stories, wireframes, and process flows.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, balancing business needs and technical constraints.
