Duties and Responsibilities
- Weigh packages and label them appropriately
- Inspect packages to ensure they are not damaged
- Inspect shipping containers to ensure they meet shipping regulations
- Assemble daily orders by shipping location or other shipping categories
- Keep accurate records of packages, including delivery notes and invoices
- Complete packing and order forms with relevant shipping information
- Seal and label shipping containers properly
- Clean shipping containers and other shipping supplies as needed
Skills and Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of packing and shipping procedures
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment for extended hours
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
