Experienced Patient Coordinator / Receptionist The main role of a Fusion Care Manager is to create the best first impression for Fusion Care Group. Care Managers are expected to kindly and professionally greet patients via phone calls or in-person at one of our various locations. The main daily task of a Care Manager is scheduling clients for our therapists by obtaining demographic and insurance information through the intake process.

General Accountabilities
- To answer all calls and schedule clients with appropriate therapist that meets their requirement insurance/time/day requests -will create an accurate log of new clients scheduled
- To obtain and accurately record appropriate demographic, insurance, financial and/or referral information.
- To inform therapist of new intake or schedule change
- To update therapists' calendars to accurately reflect their current availability for new clients
- To redirect all calls to appropriate resources and referrals
- To regularly monitor and call prospective clients from the waitlist
- To maintain client satisfaction by a warm greeting and offer of refreshments
- To revise therapists' schedules for cancellations and advising therapist of changes in a timely manner
- To perform clerical duties such as photocopying, preparing labels, faxing, filing, sorting, preparing batch cover sheets, etc.
- To conform to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- To timely and courteously assist clients with the check-out process, ensuring strict adherence to all cash handling policies and procedures.
- To report to work at the scheduled time, demonstrate consistent and regular attendance, and consistently work the duration of the scheduled shift
- To monitor incoming faxes and emails
- To ensure the working environment is neat, presentable and equipped with all necessary supplies (water, cups, paper, ink, pens)
Job Requirements & Preferences
High school diploma or GED, some college preferred
Minimum of two years' experience in customer service setting and six months receptionist experience in health care setting.
Insurance VOB experience - nice to have
Ability to properly utilize office equipment, including multi-line phones, computers and copy, fax and credit card machines, Office 365 applications and e-mail.
Experience using Simple Practice EHR, preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone, and establish/maintain cooperative relationships with clients, their families and co-workers
Ability to work varying hours as needed by the clinic, including some week-end hours.
Reliable personal transportation, automobile insurance and willingness to travel to other offices as needed.

- Experience: 2 years of phone experience
- Experience: 1 Years Health Care patient scheduling
- Bilingual - Spanish (preferred)
