Responsibilities
- Enter and process benefit claims accurately and efficiently into the system
- Review claims to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with plan rules and guidelines
- Analyze claim details and supporting documentation to determine eligibility for payment
- Identify missing or incorrect information and follow up as needed to resolve issues
- Route approved claims through the system to ensure timely payment processing
- Track claim status and help move claims through the workflow to completion
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all processed claims
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding claim status or requirements
- Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining attention to detail
- Perform other administrative or claims-related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus
- Previous experience in claims processing, benefits administration, insurance, or data entry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to review and analyze information and follow established procedures
- Comfortable working with computer systems and data entry
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Good communication and teamwork skills
