What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician – Commercial Industrial Construction Projects position at Fuse Staffing?
Fuse Staffing is currently hiring experienced Commercial / Industrial Electricians for commercial and industrial construction projects. We are looking for skilled electricians with experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems in large-scale construction environments.
Our electricians work on projects including warehouses, hospitals, schools, office buildings, retail facilities, manufacturing plants, water plants, refineries, and other commercial construction sites.
Commercial Electrician Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems, equipment, and components according to project specifications and NEC standards
- Install and bend EMT, rigid conduit, and other raceway systems
- Perform wire pulls, cable installation, and terminations
- Install and connect panels, disconnects, transformers, switchgear, lighting, devices, and electrical equipment
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform quality inspections
- Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and electrical measuring devices safely
- Work alongside foremen, project managers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following OSHA and jobsite safety requirements
Commercial Electrician Qualifications
- 3 years of commercial electrical construction experience preferred
- Experience with commercial and/or industrial electrical installations
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints
- Knowledge of electrical materials, tools, and installation methods
- Experience bending conduit and performing electrical rough-in work
- Ability to install and terminate electrical equipment and devices
- Must have a valid TDLR electrician license or apprentice registration
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on active construction sites
- Strong work ethic, attendance, and commitment to safety
Preferred Experience
- Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician experience
- Commercial construction experience
- Industrial electrical experience
- Warehouse, hospital, school, refinery, manufacturing, office building, retail, and large-scale construction projects
