Position Summary
The Plumbing Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with plumbing contractors, builders, designers, and other trade partners. This role focuses on driving sales growth, managing accounts from specification through fulfillment, and serving as a trusted product expert throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of plumbing trade and retail accounts
- Build long-term relationships with contractors, builders, designers, and developers
- Act as the primary point of contact from product selection through order completion
- Prepare and present plumbing product specifications, quotes, and proposals
- Collaborate with internal teams (showroom, purchasing, warehouse, and logistics) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Track orders, resolve issues, and provide post-sale support
- Maintain accurate account notes and sales activity in CRM systems
- Stay informed on product lines, industry trends, and new offerings
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and performance metrics
Schedule:
Rotating Saturday schedule
Qualifications
- 2 years of sales or account management experience (plumbing, construction, or related industry preferred)
- Knowledge of plumbing fixtures, valves, and rough/trim products strongly preferred
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficient with CRM systems, quoting tools, and Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated with a consultative sales approach
**Guaranteed draw for the first months then it will be commission based.
