About this role:
The Operations Program Manager is responsible for owning the end-to-end production planning and scheduling process, ensuring alignment between sales demand and manufacturing execution. This role translates customer orders and sales forecasts into actionable production plans, drives execution by coordinating across departments and divisions, and ensures finished goods are delivered on time and in alignment with customer expectations. The position serves as the critical link between sales, supply chain, and program management ensuring Fuse can continue to respond quickly to warfighter needs and scale.
What you’ll do:
- Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and collaborate with Production leadership on short-term production schedules
- Convert sales orders and forecasts into production plans, balancing: capacity constraints (labor, equipment) material availability and lead times
- Continuously adjust schedules based on priority changes, supply constraints, and production performance
- Ensure optimal workflow, minimizing bottlenecks, downtime, and excess WIP
- Partner closely with strategy, business development, program management organization, and senior leadership to understand demand forecasts and customer priorities and translate demand into realistic production timelines
- Provide clear commit dates and delivery expectations based on production capacity
- Ensure alignment between what is sold and what can be produced
- Communicate production status, risks, and delays back to sales in real time
- Provide visibility into order status, lead time changes, and capacity limitations
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and resolve delivery risks
- Collaborate with engineering to set deadlines for development and bills of materials inputs to meet production timelines
- Collaborate with Quality to ensure compliance to requirements and standards
- Maintain product cost data and assist in driving cost improvements
We are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6–10 years of experience in manufacturing, production operations, or supply chain
- Strong experience with production planning & scheduling, capacity planning
- Demonstrated skill with ERP/MRP systems – Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience would be a plus
- Proven ability to translate sales demand into production execution
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel; capability in Power BI a plus
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate across multiple mediums with various stakeholders

Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000
