Ideal candidates are eager to learn, motivated to do more, and can work well independently and on a team. Our civil engineers are known for their strong technical design skills and being well versed in all phases of land development.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve success of profit center through management of and participation in team design, production, quality, training, and employee performance.
- Represent firm in meetings with client, determine Scope of Work, prepare fees, conduct site investigation, establish schedule, prepare proposal material, review with Principal or other Project Manager and finalize proposal.
- Participate in business development for prospective clients and maintain ongoing relations with current clients.
- Manage up to two Project Managers who supervise a total of 4 to 8 employees within the Engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university
- At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Excellent problem solving, decision-making, communication, and team building skills, and abilities to manage a land development project from start to finish (entitlements through construction support).
- PE certification required
