Qualifications
- Demonstrates experience and strong knowledge of survey techniques and procedures
- Good judgment and organizational skills
- Professional Land Surveyor License a plus not required
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously during an 8-hour period
- Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate (heat and cold, etc)
- Must have good computer skills and be able to use survey related software
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of AutoCad Civil 3D

Responsibilities
- Successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and applying standard surveying techniques in the field and office to plan, organize, and execute land surveying projects
- Receive instructions on specific assignments, objectives and complex features
- Performs a variety of in-office and field tasks associated with land surveying projects obtained by the company
- Broad understanding and experience for operating surveying equipment, such as Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS RTK & Static Observations
- Accurately calculates and records field data
- Reviews job specifications and plans fieldwork methods
- Review and download field data
- Prepare field notes and draw sketches of existing site conditions
- Prepare detailed daily job reports and discuss projects with supervisor on daily basis
- Maintain and troubleshoot complex instrumentation
- Drafting and editing of surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Perform other like duties as assigned
- Occasional soils testing
Salary : $60,000 - $100,000
