Role of Project Manager at Fury Site Works Inc.


Awarded projects are handed over to our project management team to build. Our team of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents works together to deliver projects efficiently, safely, and profitably. Construction is a challenging, fast-paced occupation that requires organization, strong communication, and the ability to solve complex problems.


Project Managers are responsible for the success of every project, which involves dealing with people, money, and deadlines. This can be a high-pressure position, but it is also highly rewarding. Project Managers are primarily responsible for ensuring project success, which means:


  • Customer satisfaction through strong communication.
  • Coordination with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and governing jurisdictions.
  • Assistance with project approvals and unforeseen challenges.
  • Minimizing extra costs.
  • Timely completion.
  • Delivering a high-quality product.
  • Mitigating risk through operational safety and contractual compliance.
  • Managing project administration, including:
  • Contract administration.
  • Plans and specifications review.
  • Pay applications.
  • Change order management.
  • Cost reporting.
  • Maintaining project schedules.
  • Submittal approvals.
  • Subcontractor and supplier coordination.
  • Managing project priorities.
  • Problem solving.
  • Supporting financial profitability.
  • Empowering and supporting Project Superintendents to execute the work efficiently and effectively.


Candidate Qualifications


  • High school graduate.
  • 5 years of experience in the civil construction industry, with a completed two- or four-year degree in a related field such as Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Proficient with technology and software, including MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with scheduling and estimating software.
  • Demonstrated mathematical proficiency.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information to solve problems.
  • Strong personal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong work ethic with a flexible mindset.
  • Dependable, reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Good attitude and even-tempered.
