What You'll Do:
As a Parts Advisor, you'll serve as the connection between our customers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure the right parts are available when needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting retail, wholesale, and internal customers with parts requests
- Identifying and sourcing automotive parts using catalogs, VIN lookups, and manufacturer systems
- Supporting technicians by supplying parts quickly and accurately
- Processing parts orders, returns, warranties, and core returns
- Receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and proper bin locations
- Coordinating parts deliveries and pickups as needed
- Communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must be insurable under the company's insurance policy
- Ability to make parts deliveries and pickups as needed
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive parts experience
- Dealership experience
- Knowledge of manufacturer parts catalogs
- Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.)
- General automotive knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
No evenings. No Sundays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the day
- Ability to lift and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in both customer-facing and warehouse environments
