Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting department. In this role, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, processing payments to vendors in a timely manner and supporting the financial operations of the dealership. This position requires strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices.
Code and enter invoices into the dealership management system (DMS).
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
Maintain organized and up-to-date files for all payables.
Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status.
Support month-end closing processes as needed.
Assist with other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.
