Responsibilities
- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, de-shedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary trims, and breed-specific haircuts
- Safely handle dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with pet parents
- Identify and report any health concerns observed during grooming
- Follow company grooming standards and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional grooming experience preferred
- Ability to groom a variety of breeds independently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Passion for animal care and pet wellness
- Ability to lift and handle pets weighing up to 75 pounds
