Role Summary
As the Recruiter for our Sales & Design Consultant team, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring exceptional sales professionals who excel in luxury retail and home design. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership, develop innovative sourcing strategies, and ensure a seamless hiring process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for Sales & Design Consultant positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Create and implement effective strategies to attract high-performing sales talent, especially those with backgrounds in furniture, luxury retail, or home design.
- Build and nurture a pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, industry events, and digital recruiting platforms.
- Work in partnership with Sales Leadership to understand hiring needs, team culture, and performance expectations.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate sales skills, design expertise, customer service orientation, and cultural fit.
- Oversee offer negotiations and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and sourcing effectiveness.
Represent Furnitureland South at job fairs, community events, and industry gatherings to promote our employer brand.
- Ensure compliance with all hiring policies and employment laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years’ recruiting experience, with a focus on sales roles; experience in the furniture or home furnishings industry is highly desirable.
- Proven success in hiring high-performing sales professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and creative sourcing methods.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outstanding results.
