Delivery & Logistics Coordinator

$17/hr

Job Purpose

The Delivery Coordinator must create, build, and confirm trips through telephone and e-mail contact with the customer. The Delivery Coordinator will provide support in pick-up and delivery of products according to customer orders. The Delivery Coordinator will provide outstanding services and ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Maintain a positive attitude and high motivation level.
2. Assist customers and associates with problems in a professional manner and provide resolution.
3. Understand and implement FLS policies and procedures.
4. Schedule all customers in your designated area and assist in other areas as needed
5. Monitor trips to insure they are built to designated capacity.
6. Monitor trips your area to ensure that they are built, routed, confirmed and releases to the DC on time.
7. Know and be able to explain our storage policy to customers when needed
8. Know how to create a customer pick up
9. Note all customer contact in the Delivery memo pad.
10. Other duties assigned by supervisor.
11. Be open to suggest any ideas for improvement.
12. Arrive punctually and consistently for work for normally scheduled hours.
13. Perform various related duties as required.
14. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
15. Contact customers confirm delivery details (date, time, COD, etc).
16. Respond to tasks, emails and voicemails.

18. The job duties are not limited to the items as described above, duties can be added or changed at any given time.

Working Conditions

This job is an onsite position that operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Required Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent with one to two years’ experience in customer service, delivery, or a related field.
