Duties
- Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and high performance standards
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members, providing comprehensive employee orientation and ongoing training & development
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize product availability and profitability
- Oversee cash handling, cashiering, POS systems operation, and payroll processing with accuracy and compliance
- Implement merchandising plans and oversee visual displays to enhance store presentation and drive sales
- Monitor sales performance, set targets, and develop action plans to achieve sales management objectives
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries promptly and maintaining high standards of communication skills
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of retail math, inventory management, POS systems, and operational management practices
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Experience with Furniture sales is a plus; familiarity with retail store product knowledge is preferred
- Prior assistant manager or managerial experience in retail stores is highly advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills combined with leadership qualities such as motivation, communication skills, and time management
