Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them find furniture that suits their needs and style preferences
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations, highlighting features, benefits, and quality to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
• Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer with integrity
• Upsell complementary products, accessories, or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume
• Maintain organized stock displays, restock shelves, and assist with merchandising to ensure an attractive store environment
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, inventory counts, and product labeling to support efficient store operations

Experience

• Prior retail sales experience is preferred, especially within furniture or home goods stores; grocery store experience is also valuable for transferable skills
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in team settings
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices
• Experience conducting product demos and upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities
• Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally while managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Preferrably Speak in Spanish
