FULFILLMENT OPERATIONS TRAINEE
Family-owned home furnishings retailer seeks a Fulfillment Operations Trainee to join our experienced team. The successful candidate will participate in an 8-10 week training program with the goal of becoming proficient in our warehousing and delivery (i.e. Fulfillment) operations. Successful completion of training will lead to promotion to the position of Warehouse/Delivery associate.
Primary duties for this position include the following:
· Assembling new furniture
· Prepping furniture for delivery
· Loading/unloading company delivery trucks and tractor trailers
· Maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse environment
· Receiving deliveries of new merchandise
· Assisting delivery team with customer installations
Minimum qualifications:
· High school diploma
· Ability to safely move/lift/carry 100lbs
· Valid NYS Driver’s License
· Meet DOT physical requirements
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
