You will plan the most efficient way to complete your deliveries, ensure adherence to delivery schedules, and complete the delivery, paying attention to detail, to complete these deliveries to our customers satisfaction. The ideal candidate has experience driving trucks and furniture delivery experience with good decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Pick up furniture and/or appliances from one location and transport them to our customers' homes. Assemble merchandise and set up.
- Good Credit
- Perform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- Plan the safest and most efficient routes from your truck into the customers' homes, to minimize complications.
- Adhere to delivery schedules
- Comply with all company policies and driving laws
- Previous experience as a furniture & appliance delivery personnel is preferred but not required.
- CDL is not required, however, all of our drivers will have a DOT certification. The company will provide that certification.
- Applicants will need to have the minimum of a high school diploma
- Understanding of all relevant truck-driving laws and regulations
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Willingness to go above what is needed to complete deliveries
